JPL/NASA Programs

The Student-Faculty Programs office provides administrative support to several NASA/JPL summer programs, which include NASA Space Grant, NASA PGGURP, NASA UI, and JPLSIP. Students apply directly to these programs. However, once admitted students may live on the Caltech campus and will join a large community of undergraduate researchers.

Many of these JPL programs will ask for students to submit a resume.  Click here for a template to help you create or update your existing resume.

NASA Space Grant

NASA Space Grant is a national consortium that strengthens colleges and universities with interests and capabilities in aeronautics, space science and technology, and related fields, and encourages cooperative programs among colleges, universities, business, and federal, state, and local governments.

Students in the JPL Space Grant program spend 10 weeks in the summer at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Undergraduate or graduate US citizens enrolled full-time or accepted for full-time at a Space Grant-affiliated college or university are eligible. Competitions for awards are generally held in January. Contact the Space Grant Director for your state.
