NASA Space Grant is a national consortium that strengthens colleges and
universities with interests and capabilities in aeronautics, space science
and technology, and related fields and encourages cooperative programs among
colleges, universities, business, and federal, state, and local governments.
Students in the JPL Space Grant program spend 10 weeks in the summer at JPL.
Undergraduate or graduate US citizens enrolled full time or accepted for full
time at a Space Grant-affiliated college or university are eligible. Competitions
for awards are generally held in January. Contact the Space Grant Director
for your state.

Caltech’s Student-Faculty Programs Office provides administrative
support to the JPL Space Grant program. JPL Space Grant students may live
on the Caltech campus and will join a large community of undergraduate researchers.
Once they have been selected for the JPL Space Grant Program, students will
receive information and instructions from the SFP Office.
